Hi there
Im a professional photographer and I will try to explain to you my view on this picture.
Profeesional photographers invest a fairly big amount of money and time on good equipment, learning and time to take the best picture possible. they intend to sell them or hope to be hired for some job when people see their photos, so... yes it is very frustrating when people come around with an entry level SLR (or even worst a compact) and a kit lens and shoot a very poor photo in terms of quality (compared to the professional one) and are whiling to give them away for anyone who shows interest on it. let me tell you why: most people who show interest in the amateur photo only do because they dont want to spend the money to get the photo, it is not because of the quality of you're photo, that ruins the business for the professional photographer whose photos are perfect but cost money.

Please feel free to photograph, but please DO NOT GIVE YOU'RE PHOTOS for free, that's what i have to say about it

I discovered yet another website called Clipix.com that I think you would find very interesting. I am officially anti-Pinterest because of all the features that are available via Clipix.
